MURP: Land Use & Physical Development Planning Specialization
The specialization in public and nonprofit management in the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning provides students with skills that enable them to improve quality of life of communities through the effective analysis, planning and development of physical land use and related resources of their environments. Students with this area of specialization will likely become physical planners qualified to discharge a wide variety of assignments in town, county, city, and regional planning agencies, with private consulting firms, and with non-profit corporations
