Jesse Richardson, Jr. joined the Department as an assistant professor in the Fall of 1998 after 11 years as an attorney in private practice. While in private practice, his primary areas were environmental land use, water rights, agricultural, real estate, and employment litigation (sexual harassment, racial discrimination, Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act). He is presently involved in major litigation which will determine groundwater rights in Virginia.
